BRAMBLES FOOD HALL

It is vitally important that we supply fresh and local produce here at Brambles Food Hall and support the local economy. We are proud to be able to boast such a huge footfall of people each year and without the people of the North East we wouldnt be able to expand at the speed we have done in the past 10 years with the development of the now famous Brambles Coffee Shop, Poplar Tree Florist and now Brambles Food Hall Durham. To have so much development on one site in Durham is rare, especially in todays economic climate, and again that wouldn’t be possible without the great people of the North East supporting us. In turn wee would like to offer our support wherever possible to local businesses, suppliers and farms.

The thousands of people that pass through Poplar Tree Garden Centre Durham each week, continuously ask us why we havent got a Farm Shop. We began to realise that the local people of Durham and beyond no longer wanted to shop at large supermarkets, and would instead prefer to support the North East Economy directly and shop in the ambiance of a large food hall where they could still do their weekly shopping, but also combine it with a bite to eat in Brambles Coffee Shop or a look around Poplar Tree Florist or the Garden Centre itself.

The North East produce some of the finest, freshest, and tastiest foods in the world and it would be silly not to use them.......
