It is vitally important that we supply fresh and local produce here at Brambles Food Hall Durham and support the local economy. We are proud to be able to boast such a huge footfall of people each year and without the people of Durham and the North East we wouldnt be able to expand at the speed we have done in the past 10 years with the development of the now famous Brambles Coffee Shop Durham, Poplar Tree Florist and now Brambles Food Hall. To have so much development on one site in Durham is rare, especially in todays economic climate, and again that wouldn’t be possible without the great people of the North East supporting us. In turn we would like to offer our support wherever possible to local businesses, suppliers and farms.

County Durham & The North East, famous for its numerous farms, produce some of the finest, freshest, and tastiest foods in the world and it would be silly not to utilise that asset at Brambles Farm Shop.

Poplar Tree Garden Centre Durham has been on the site in Shincliffe for over 45 years now and the last 7 years have seen the introduction of many new developments. It was not until we saw the huge success of Brambles Coffee Shop attracting tourists from all over the UK that we realised there was a huge potential for a genuinely large Food Hall.

With the ability to compete with local supermarkets, Brambles Food hall and farm shop Durham, as well as the other shops on site will employ around 40 people..
